Bucket Head

During the Minute to Win It games during our Blom Family Easter, I volunteered to play the Bucket Head game for our team. I was HORRIBLE! Everyone else who played got the five balls in their bucket in about 20-45 seconds but I took 2 minutes and 20 seconds. I couldn't stop laughing and was told it was pretty entertaining to watch.
I thought the first time might have been a fluke so I tried it again. I was still really bad (as you can tell by the video and how much Charlie is laughing) and so I finally gave up. This is definitely not one of my talents.

Blom Easter - Minute to Win It

This year for Easter, we played some Minute to Win It games with the Blom family. We shared a lot of laughs and enjoyed watching each other make fools of themselves.

Save The Children Cupcakes

Today my Save the Children cupcakes arrived! I ordered them from Georgetown Cupcake (for those of you that watch TLC, they have the show DC Cupcakes) and 100% of the proceeds go to Save the Children programs. If you are interested feel free to order some until May 9 and you will help an organization that is near and dear to my heart.

Our Backyard

Here are some pictures of our backyard after we did some major cleaning up this past weekend. I wanted you to see what it looked like before everything starts blooming because I know in a couple of weeks it will look completely different.

Weekend with Adam

This weekend my brother Adam came to Cedar Rapids to have some fun and help us with some electrical work around the house. He replaced all of the outdated outlets and switches which makes the house look really great. Because it was so nice outside, he also helped us with some much needed yard work including trimming some trees, clearing the leaves and draining our pond (which was really nasty). It was a very productive weekend and a lot of fun!
