Olive - First time in bumbo chair

I know she looks a little miserable but she really did enjoy it for the first minute or so, then she was done.

Olive - 10 weeks

It is so amazing to me to see how much Olive changes from week to week and even day to day sometimes.

At her recent doctor's appointment, Olive weighed 11 lbs 7 oz and was 24 1/4 inches long. She inherited her mommy's long torso so every time I put her in her car seat, her head seems to be higher up on the seat. It is fun to see the growth.

Olive - 9 weeks

Olive was 9 weeks old on Tuesday and this was the first week back at work for me and her first time at daycare.

Originally my plan was to send Olive to daycare 2 days a week and keep her home with me the other 3. However, I found it really difficult to give Olive the attention she needs so we decided to send her full time. I know she is getting lots of attention and is doing fun activities all day so I am okay with sending her. Besides, the daycare doesn't mind if I call to see how things are going.

Olive - 8 Weeks

Here she is at 8 weeks. Can you believe it? I know I can't.

This is my last week of maternity leave and then it is back to reality. I will be keeping her home with me 3 days a week and sending her to daycare for 2 days. We will see if this works and if not, she will be going to daycare full time. I think when I drop her off next week Tuesday, it will be a very hard day for me.

Olive - 7 weeks

I am kind of behind on updating the blog but above are pictures of Olive at 7 weeks. She weighs in at 10 lbs 13 oz and is smiling more than ever. It is super cute!
