This past weekend I got to see my best friend Kristin (along with my family, which was awesome too). Let me just say that it has been way too long since the last time I saw her but it didn't feel that way, which is why I love her so much. (We both kind of suck at the whole keeping in touch thing but when we see each other we can just start where we left off and fill in the missing pieces.)
For those of you who don't know, Kristin and I go way back. We have known each other since we were 3 and we have been through a lot together. We have chased boys, dressed up really dumb, and just had a ton of fun. She even helped introduce me to my hubby, Charlie, for which I am really grateful. We were in each others weddings and she will forever be my best friend no matter how much distance there is between us or how long it has been since we last saw each other.
Kristin, you are the greatest and it was so much fun to hang out with you on Saturday and ride with you to Omaha on Sunday. I love you a ton and can't wait to see you again!! (and I am still planning of Africa when we are old and can finally afford it :) )
