Our Grill

So, I really hate to admit this but I have to come clean. We have not cleaned our grill in over 2 years! Wow, I feel better already. :)

Today we finally took the task over and cleaned our grill. I have to say, it only took about 30 minutes because I think the desert heat makes the grease easier to clean. Below are some great pictures of our accomplishment.

Today I finally got in to see the doctor and he said everything is healing as it should. I was originally told to wear the walking boot for 4 weeks but today I was told it will be for 6 weeks, which means only 3 weeks left. I was happy to get the report and when we looked at the updated x-rays, you couldn't see the break on one of the views! Thanks for all the well wishes and I will keep you updated after my next appointment on September 2.

City Lights

I know this picture is pretty blurry but one of my favorite things is flying over the city of Albuquerque and all of it's lights. It makes me realize that I am home and gets me really excited. It was especially great last night because of the amazing lightning that was going on as well. Hopefully the next picture I take will be much clearer.
