So, for all of you that may look at this blog, I need your advice. I would love to paint our front door but Charlie doesn't think I can because of our storm door. Do you agree with him? If not, please let me know what color you think would be best. I am thinking red but would it be too much red?Please help!

I think it'd actually look great through the storm door. One solid color on the door would be framed nicely by the white of your storm door. I'd say get a bunch of red paint samples from the paint store and tape them to the door. Then stand back a good distance and see which one looks best. The brick right next to the door might make it look too red but I think if you found the right red, it would blend and compliment perfectly.
Match them to your shutters. Either paint the main door or the white around the storm door, so it looks like a red frame.
