Yesterday I finally got the okay from the doctor to take my boot off for good. YEAH, I'm free!!!! Even though I got rid of the boot, the doctor gave me an ankle brace to wear until my ankle is completely healed and allows me to get some strength back. It is nice to have some more flexibility and an added bonus is that I don't make the noise of a pirate with a wooden leg.
